Air Warrnambool

Air Warrnambool is Western Victoria’s home of flight training and scenic flights, with bases in Warrnambool, Cobden and Portland Air Warrnambool is there, making dreams fly!

Scenic flights operate daily from our main base at the Warrnambool Airport. Flight training is primarly conducted from Warrnambool but can be arrainged with prior notice at Portland and Cobden. Air Warrnambool prides it’s self in providing high quility flight training.

AquaZone boasts 3 state of the art indoor pools including an 8 lane 25m pool, program pool and leisure pool with ‘beach entry’, and a heated outdoor seasonal 50m pool. Enjoy a workout in our friendly gymnasium overlooking Warrnambool’s picturesque botanical gardens, featuring 16 pieces of the latest model cardio equipment, pin-loaded and extensive free weight areas.

Bring your fm radio and tune into cable or free-to-air TV to really get away from it all. Enjoy one of our 40 weekly group fitness classes. Our highly skilled and qualified health and fitness team will guide and coach you through a range of fantastic programs, including Spin, Les Mills – Body Attack, Body Step, Body Pump and Body Balance, X-trainer, Boxing Circuit, and Aqua Aerobics. Kids and adults can learn to swim in our own Swim and Survive program, focussing on water familiarisation, stroke correction and water safety. Creche and Occasional Care is available Monday – Friday, 9am – 11am.

Warrnambool Golf Club

The Warrnambool Golf Club is the regions premier golf course, open all year, with resident pro and lessons available. A 5 minute drive from the Warrnambool Visitor Information Centre will take you right to the first tee. Rundells Mahogany Trail Rides

Rundells Mahogany Trail Rides had been taking out trail rides on the beach and teaching riding lessons for 12 years, we have a team of friendly, helpful staff that are very experienced and knowledgeable when working with horses.

We offer riders of all experience levels, from the complete beginner to the experienced rider the opportunity to ride wonderful horses along a quiet and isolated stretch of beach. Our horses have been specially bred and trained to cater for all riders from the nervous beginner to the very experienced so that everyone can enjoy the thrill of riding a horse along a wide open beach. Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village

By day or by night Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village & Shipwrecked Sound and Laser Show is a must do – and winner of the past four Victorian State Tourism Awards, and several Museums Australia Awards. By day, Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village is a maritime village and muse built around 1858 state heritage listed Warrnambool Lighthouse.

Reflecting the rich maritime atmosphere of the Shipwreck Coast, Flagstaff Hill is the ideal starting point to discover maritime history of the Shipwreck Coast and Great Ocean Road. More than 180 ships have come to grief along the Shipwreck Coast, with much of this tragic history being recounted at Flagstaff Hill. Holder of Victoria’s largest maritime and shipwreck collection its feature pieces are the $4 million Loch Ard Peacock, a priceless relic from the wreck Loch Ard that in 1878 was lost at the now famous Loch Ard Gorge.
You are taken on a voyage on an early immigrant ship through the multi media Gravesend Theatre, before arriving in the maritime village.
By night, ‘Shipwrecked’ is a theatrical multi media and outdoor special effects experience that brings to life the tragic story of the Loch Ard disaster in a multi-million dollar Sound and Laser show that sails nightly at Flagstaff Hill.
